For METG Drama Fest this year, we will be performing a 40-minute cut of either Romeo & Juliet or Much Ado About Nothing. I am working with John Sarrouf on developing the script based on themes and production ideas.

Once rehearsals & set builds start, please submit all new conflicts via the Rehearsal Conflict Form. This includes absences from school. Only conflicts submitted by individual students or parents/guardians will be considered.
Auditions
Interested in helping to bring this wonderful story to life? The script is always the first place for a performer to start. Make sure you read the play at least 3 times: first for enjoyment like the audience coming to see the show, second for the basic themes and understanding of characters, and third for the direct and indirect details and specifics. DO NOT watch videos of other productions.
Individual Acting Auditions will take place by appointment on Monday, December 8th, Tuesday, December 9th, and Wednesday, December 10th. Performers should prepare a one-minute monologue. You may use your Rock of Ages: Teen Edition audition monologue or prepare a one-minute Shakespearean monologue. Avoid using TV shows and movies as sources for monologue audition material, please.
Call Backs will be posted Thursday night and take place Friday, December 12t,h after Rock of Ages: Teen Edition callbacks for those called back.
Audition Time Slot Sign Up HERE. If you have already signed up for a Rock of Ages: Teen Edition audition slot, you do not need to sign up again.
(You will need to move the calendar week forward to the week of auditions to sign up.)
